Dates for Regional and National Galas

EAST MIDLANDS REGIONAL DISABILITY GALA
This event will be held at Alfreton Leisure Centre on Sunday 16th October. If you have not been classified then there may be the opportunity to be classified at this event. Please email disability@derbyshireswimming.org.uk if you would like to be added to the waiting list for classification.

DISABILITY SHORT COURSE NATIONALS
This event will be held at Ponds Forge Sheffield on 26th/27th November. The entry form and other details (events, qualifying times etc) will be available for download from http://www.disabilitysport.org.uk/.

DERBYSHIRE ASA SPRINT COMPETITION
This event will take place on 20th November at Ponds Forge Sheffield. There are no qualifying times for disabled swimmers, however you should be able to swim 50m long course comfortably. The entry form will be available from http://www.derbyshireswimming.org.uk/

County / Regional Training Day

We will be holding a County / Regional Training Day at ALFRETON LEISURE CENTRE on SUNDAY 4th SEPTEMBER. The day will be open to all swimmers in Derbyshire who have a disability and can comfortably swim 25m . Swimmers do NOT need to have been through the classification process to take part in this training day.
Coaches- please encourage your swimmers to attend, as this will be the launch event for the Derbyshire Disability Squad. Further details including timings to follow. Please put the date in your diary.
